Grades. The Monroe School Building In The Early 1980's Was Home To The Monroe
Church Of The Nazarene, The Monroe Sanctuary Was the South-East Most 2
classrooms On The 1st Floor, The Upper Seating Area Was The Clothing Bank For
Donations And Distribution, The Gymnasium Was Mostly Used As Rehearsal &
Staging Area For Church Functions, And The Famous Kindergarten Room With The
Fireplace Was Used For Various Youth Services.
On Monday May 17, 2004 The Historic 50th Anniversary Celebration Of The Brown Vs
Board Of Education Took Place In Topeka Kansas, Other Events Took Place Over
The Weekend Leading Up To The Anniversary. Starting With A Group From The
South With Contrasting Views On The Case Attempting To Voice Their Views Over
Chants By A Local Anti-Hate Group Organization
